Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Your Soul Is Eternal
“Your soul is eternal. I am with you always and forever. We have always know each other and we always will. So, remember that your soul is eternal. It comes from me and will return to me. While you may feel like a stranger in this land and though I may seem distant or far away, I am with you. We are one. Even though we may seem like we are apart – we are not. Do not believe the excuses that your ego makes up in order to get its way. Surrender to your Spirit which is my Spirit and you will be free, your joy will overflow. Your soul is eternal. So, remember that I love you and that my joy is in you and comes through you. I love you.”
There is not much effort in our world for unity. There is competition all around and we forget that the goal is unity. Our Spirits know this. If we listen to our Spirit, there is a great desire for unity. The Spirit seeks unity because your Spirit is in unity with God’s Spirit (however you understand God) When we seem separate or alone, we can draw upon the eternal unifying power of God’s Spirit in us. We can draw on the power of our eternal soul. This week, look for ways to bring unity in your family great and small. This is your eternal soul at work. Let me know how it goes in the comments below.
For me the unity is always present (I think you are saying that, too) and the job is taking time to be aware of it and to be conscious of experiencing it. As always, Michael, thank you for oyour wisdom.
With such a lack of unity today as our country is torn with the secular battle of egos known as politics, these words are like a cool balm to ease my tensions and remind me that the decisions and outcomes before us are less than a speck of dust in God’s order.
