To ride the wave during times of transition like a pandemic gives you the opportunity to discern what things to hold on to and what things have served their purpose and need to be released.
Ride the Wave
During times of rapid change, it often becomes almost impossible to keep up with new information, new ways of doing and being, and the constant need to re-evaluate and adjust course in the middle of a very busy life. This happens because our base of knowledge and information from which we make decisions is constantly being challenged and changed. Our old information base is often challenged by new circumstances. Rather than trying to make it work, we can simply ride the wave of change. As we do this, we are able to let go of information and assumptions that no longer serve us and have become life depleting. This helps us make room for learning new information and adapting to new situations in life nurturing ways. This helps move us forward on our journey.
Ponder
The next time change starts to overwhelm you, take a minute to breathe and just go with the flow, ride the wave. What if you chose not to make a decision at a particular moment? Suppose you just let things be and see where it takes you? Or, rather than trying to adapt based on old information and assumptions take some time to see how you can change a life depleting situation into a life-nurturing situation.
