When working with faith communities, experience has taught me that working only with Church leadership to discern direction doesn’t work. Instead, I believe it is critical to work with the God given wisdom of the group and draw upon the divine presence in each individual that is available to participate in solving the problems of the whole. This work is done using individual interviews/assessments as well as large group intervention methodologies such as Open Space Technology and Whole Person Process Facilitation.
Working in this way taps into the collective wisdom of the group and draws upon the divine presence in each individual. The faith community becomes more aligned with one another; conflicts are resolved; and powerful solutions emerge.
