Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. Sunday is the first Sunday in Advent. Advent is a time to anticipate the new things God is doing in our lives and in the world. Today’s post is about blessing and Advent is a great time to consider blessings. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download.
Love Freely
Sometimes we forget that an authentic life is a blessed life. As you seek to live your authentic life what difference would it make to you if God said:
“Be blessed. Be a blessing — open yourself to the life changing power of my love. Be loved. Love others, in this way the blessings will flow. Do not hold back. Do not be afraid to love fully and wholly…in this you will find your own redemption and your own blessing. Be still and know that I am with you for this in itself is a blessing. Let my light shine in you. Let love flow. Grace abounds. Be thankful in all things. I love you.”
Today’s Download from Heaven reminds us that we are to live and love freely. We do this when we live authentically. How do you seek to live your authentic self? Let me know in the comments below.
