Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. Go With the Flow of Change
“Go with the flow of change. Continue on. Keep responding to my love, share my love and be my love in the world. Do not worry about those who oppose you or who would go so far as to destroy you. Just continue to understand the deep blessing of my love and share that with those who will hear. Keep your rule of life simple and flexible so that you can go with the flow of change no matter the season of life. A tree is a tree no matter what the season. And a tree looks different in different seasons. The differences may be extreme, like losing all its leaves or subtle, no apparent growth. But the tree does what is necessary to preserve its “treeness” and so it is with you. Adapt to the season in whatever way is necessary to tend to my love which dwells within you. I love you.”
God’s (however you understand God) love for us is unchanging. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t change. God’s love can change to meet us in any circumstance of life. Sometimes we miss that because we believe that God can only love in certain situations if we do certain things. We cannot earn God’s love and so, God adapts God’s love for every situation in life. Even those situations where we don’t think we deserve it. You are welcome to share your thoughts about the changing power of God’s love in your life in the comments below.
Every Friday the messages are GOOD FOOD! GOD FOOD!! Even just reading the title as it comes in is nourishing. Simplicity and truth shines through. I’ve been feeling this too: “…tend to my love which dwells within you…” That’s when I feel the Tree of Me growing ~~~ no matter the season.
