To give up blame and judgement is not always easy especially during trying times like a pandemic. The news media is full of information on who to blame, as well as who not to blame. These are just ways of making judgments about who is at fault and are not the most helpful way to move forward.
Blame and Judgement
At this time in our world it might be time to give up on blame and judgement. This is not to say that people should not be held responsible for what is done or not done. But it does mean that as we seek ways to hold people responsible, it is helpful to figure out what we can do personally to help solve the problem. If we focus on who is to blame and judge people and institutions for what is done or not done, then we tend to remove ourselves from any personal responsibility.
When we give up on blame and judgement, then we allow a little peace to flow into our lives. If we make room for peace, the energy of blame and judgement are put to the side. This allows us to think more clearly about finding solutions. Giving up blame and judgement also helps to make room for joy and love to flow in. When this happens we are able to be more compassionate with ourselves and others.
Ponder
This week, as we continue to navigate our way through the pandemic or any other difficult situation in life. Take a moment to breathe some peace. This allows us to give up blame and judgement and let love and joy come in. Love and joy are the great healers. Joy cleanses your soul and love feeds it good food. In this way our soul can be strong and can step out of the blame and judging cycle. If you are interested in developing a practice of letting go of blame and judgement and connecting to peace, love and joy let me know. And feel free to let me know how you are doing in the comments below.
