Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
You Are Enough
“You are enough just the way you are and you are loving in your being. Yes, you are broken but that is OK. I am not seeking perfection. Rather, I am seeking relationship. My love for you is so strong that perfection and rule keeping are put aside for love. You are enough when you accept my love, live in my love and share my love. So, there is no need for judgment from me or you. This love does not judge, it heals, it restores, it makes all things new. So, accept my love, know that you are enough and share my love with others. I love you.”
It is sometimes easy to get in a rut and think about how many ways we fail or make mistakes. But we are human after all, and that is part of being human. Gratefully, God (however you understand God) is more about love than about how we fall short. It is important to remember to be about the love relationship and not worry too much about the failures. How do you stay focused on being enough rather than your mistakes? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
