Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
Walk With Me in Peace
“Walk with me in Peace. Let us walk together in peace. Let us walk into the martyr’s fire with joy and thanksgiving. Let us walk into darkness full of light. Let our hearts be full of hope and glory and thanksgiving as we seek together my kingdom in our hearts and in the world. Therefore always be mindful of my love and whenever there is doubt or anxiety or fear…breathe peace…place your head behind your heart and let love lead you. Always lean into love. If you are pulled in some other direction, stop and look for love. Be mindful to rejoice when you find the love and give thanks. Love upholds all things. I created in love. Love is the foundation of all things. So, seek to remove all distractions from love and you will be full of joy. I love you.”
Often our lives are full of difficult journies and we got lost and confused. God (however you understand God) calls us to a peace path. Often we are distracted from our peace path simply by the way we live our life, the decisions we make or the people we associate with. Sometimes we are distracted from the peace path for reasons beyond or control. However, we are called to walk the peace path even in difficult moments. How do you stay on the peace path? I would love to hear your comments below.
I love this. I’m teaching about the peace path too.
