Welcome to Friday Food!  A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday.  For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”.  In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God).  We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too!  When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes.  This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head.  Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things.  Just let them speak to your heart.  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  Here is today’s download:

Be Patient

Be patient.  Don’t take it personally when people do not understand you.  Be patient and loving as much as you can.  Some people’s hearts are closed and the pain, fear, and anger in their lives have taken over.  They have lost sight of my love in them and for them.  Your patience with them may be the glimpse of love they need to be free.  This is why you must work on casting out your own demons of fear and anger and keep your wounds cleans so you will b free to love.  When others are caught up in the moment, reconnect to my deep love and peace so that you can stay steady through it all.  This can be a moment of healing for you and your neighbor.

I sometimes have a hard time holding steady especially in times of conflict.  It is easy for me to make it all about me or think that no one understands me.  Whenever I am having a hard time holding steady, frequently I find that it is my own fear, pain or anger popping up.  Sometimes, the scab may have been knocked off a spiritual or emotional wound.  This is why it is important to have a daily practice of cleansing and healing.  What do you do to keep your spirit clean and healthy?  Let me know in the comments below.  Or if you would like to know more about having a clean and healthy spirit, feel free to contact me.
