Welcome to Friday Food!  A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday.  For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”.  In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God).  We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too!  When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes.  This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head.  Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things.  Just let them speak to your heart.  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  Here is today’s download:

Love Your Way Through Life

Love Your Way Through Life“Love your way through life.  Don’t go looking for trouble.  When in doubt about what to do ask yourself, “where do you feel the love?”  What seems to please your heart?  What brings you joy?  This is the path to follow.  Even in pursuit of love and joy, there will be difficulties but they will be difficulties that you have the strength and wisdom to face.  Don’t go looking for trouble.  Do not commit or over commit yourself to things you have no passion for.  Be wary of doing things out of obligation.  Look for ways of commitment that are connected to love.   Living life from the perspective of love is not easy but it brings joy and hope and leads you to your purpose.  I love you. ”

When I am in a difficult situation, sometimes I forget that there is a whole other reality connected to any situation that I need to tune into.  Sometimes I am so focused on the reality of the situation, I forget that there is a spiritual dimension to all things.  This spiritual dimension doesn’t always make sense and I have been known to discount it all together.  But sometimes it is in the spiritual dimension that clarity arrives and hope can be found.  Do you account for the spiritual dimension in your life?  Or do you stay focused on the known reality?  Maybe you do both.  Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
