Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. The Impossible Possible
“I can make the impossible possible. I can make the hard rock into a pool of water. Whenever you find yourself in a hard spot, a difficult situation, I can transform it into something life nurturing. It is true, can make the impossible possible. So, even in the difficult moments, you can look for refreshment. You can take a moment for a refreshing drink of joy and a breath of peace. I am always with you and I will hold you up. I will open doors for your. I will give you rest. If you hurt, forgive. Bless the one who hurt you. Run to those you love so that they might know your love. I can use you and you can join with me in turning the rocks into living water for yourself and others.”
When things seem impossible we have the opportunity to connect to something bigger than ourselves. We have the opportunity to connect to the divine that is in us and participate in the holy work of making all things new. This transformative work requires that we connect to love and to forgive. So, the next time you find yourself in what seems like an impossible situation see what you can do to participate in the divine work of transformation.
