Forgive

IMG_0796Don’t confuse the wound that you have with the offense that caused the wound.  When someone offends you forgive them.  Simply say….I forgive you for….and name the offense.  Don’t worry about their response even if they don’t know they need this forgiveness.  Until you forgive, the wound can’t heal.  Ask for forgiveness.  As soon as you are aware that you have offended someone, ask for their forgiveness.  It doesn’t matter if they forgive you now or later, your task is to ask.  If you are aware that you have caused a wound in another person, don’t try to heal it.  That is for God and the healing ministry of God’s angels in whatever form they show up.  Forgive and let God take care of the healing of the wound. This healing is for the wound you have received and the wound you inflicted on someone else.  Think about the difference between the wound and the offense.  Let me know what you think in the comments section below.
