Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
Doors of Life
“I am always opening doors and preparing the way for you. So, do not worry about what to do or when to do it. Simply live each day as best as you can. Do not force your way in the world. Let doors open and when doors don’t open, come back later if you must. Or, just move on. I am always with you. Look for my love on your journey. Share my love, be my love. As you do this, you will know which steps to take and doors will open that you had not expected. As you go, keep yourself healed up. Let peace flow in you and be in you. Share with your neighbor, be kind and be a blessing to yourself and others.”
There have been times in my life when I have tried to figure out the next step. Our world does not encourage waiting and I often get caught up in trying to decide what to do right now. Sometimes the best thing to do right now is nothing. Sometimes it is better to stop and wait, to see if things work themselves out or to work on a different perspective to our problems. In waiting, we give our Spirit the opportunity to reflect, meditate and ponder things from a different perspective. A perspective of love which is bigger than the problem at hand. Have you ever tried waiting as a method of problem solving? If so, how did it work out for you.? I would love to know in the comments below.
When I read this it felt so easy. I have at times just allowed things to wait for a while instead of running in and trying to “save” something. And later found that the problem had solved itself. I think that sometimes we can, in our eagerness to save the world, create more chaos than was there before we arrived. Right now I am thinking – shall I do this or not, shall I take the lead or not. And I don´t really know the answer so I will wait for a while.
Thank you Eiwor. I am going through a waiting phase myself. The waiting is a great teacher and problem solver I think. Many blessings as we wait.
I love this. And the waiting. Martin Luther is alleged to have said, If I don’t pray for four hours today I’ll never get everything done. I like that. Love this food today. thank you.
