Welcome to Friday Food!  A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday.  For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”.  In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God).  We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too!  When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes.  This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head.  Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things.  Just let them speak to your heart.  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  Here is today’s download:

Divine Presence

“Connect to the Divine presence within you.  Take time to clear out whatever is standing between me and you.  Let me heal your wounds so that my love shines through.  Surrender to my love.  Put away rules and formulas for being with me.  You don’t have to go around the block — I am with you.  Look within and I will tell you that I love you and I will heal you.  Take time to listen to the still small voice, your intuition, your divine spark so that you can know my love and your blessing.  Take your time in all things, discerning where our spirits lead us.  I am joy, peace, and love.  Follow these and you will follow me.  I love you.”

There are people and institutions who have made is complicated to know and experience the divine presence that is within each of us.  We have been told that there are rules and formulas for experiencing the divine that is within us and that has wounded us.  God, (however you understand God) wants to heal us of those wounds so that we may connect to the divine holiness that is already present in us.  How do you stay connected to your Divinity?  Please share in the comments below.
