Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
All Are Equal
“You are equal with your brother and sister. No person is better than you and you are better than no one. All are equal in my eyes. Your gifts are different but one person’s gifts are not more important than another person’s gifts. I appreciate and desire all gifts. Your wounds and your neighbors wounds are one in the same. They need the same amount of healing. Do not think your problems are “special”? Your problems are just as important to me as all the problems of the one you call other. In all of this I am present and able to heal, transform and make new. No gift, no wound has more value than another. They are all equal opportunities to love, serve and heal. Remember, I love you”
Sometimes, in pain and difficulties it is easy forget that others are also in pain. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own problems, we forget that others also have problems and then we forget that we are all connected and need each other. This week, let’s try to remember that we are all the same in God’s eyes (however you understand God) and that we are all needed and loved and healed. Let me know how you do in the comments below.
