Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
Use Your Tools
“Use your tools. You have many: prayer, meditation, listening, reading all of these are your tools. Use your tools. You have many tools at your disposal. Some of these tools are well known to you, some of these tools you have not yet discovered. Use your tools in your tool box wisely and get some new tools when you need them. There are basic tools, like I mentioned, to use everyday. There are special tools to use in special circumstances like fasting and silence. Sometimes new tools are needed if the old one breaks or you find yourself in a new situation. Use your tools. There are many tools and there are helpers. Saints, angels and all the holy beings, known and unknown can come to your aid. They are willing and able if you ask to show you how to use a new tool or to give you a new tool. Your tool box is always growing because your life is changing. Use your tools. I love you.”
What tools do you use to nurture the Divine presence that lives within you? Do you have favorite ones? Which tools do you use in difficult circumstances? It would be great if you could share the tools you use and how you use them in the comments below. There are so many. I would love to hear from you.
