Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
Look for Me
When you look for me, you will find me. I will be your rock, your salvation, your peace. In your difficult moments, take a moment to look around and find my presence. Let your spirit be awake and alive to all that is around you. Drink in my mercy. Be still. Rest. Do not be distracted from my love for you.
Very fine Friday food. thank you, Michael.
Michael, I took on the task of leading the Heads, Hearts, and Hands class on Easter Sunday
because our current series ends on Palm Sunday and Peg’s series on creeds and confessions doesn’t start until April 3.
I’m thinking about asking “What does the resurrection mean to you personally?” Maybe some
people who stick around after the sunrise service will have fresh thoughts. I’ve googled a few
things, but so far they pertain to resurrection’s meaning for women. Any ideas?
Thanks.
