Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
The Actions and Behaviors of Love
“Ask all the questions you want to ask…in the end, I have many good answers. But, what do you believe about me? And do you live what you believe about me to the fullest? Do you believe that I can heal you, bring you peace and hope? Do you believe that in me there is abundant hope and joy? Can you believe that most everything is an illusion covering the reality of my presence in your life and in the world?
If so, look below actions and behaviors, you will find deep abiding peace and love that can establish your life in hope and joy. Asking questions related to your behaviors and actions will not always lead you to hope and peace. Start with love 00 my love for you — accept it and all its possibilities and know that I love everyone. This includes you, your neighbor and your enemy. When you accept this, you will begin to change your behaviors and actions. I love you.”
Ponder
Life raises lots of questions. However, one important question to ponder is how does what we do and say reflect what we believe. This is a huge task to make sure our actions and behaviors reflect what we say we believe. We see inconsistencies with this frequently in peoples lives and even in institutions. How do you make sure that your actions and behaviors reflect what you believe to be your purpose in life? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
when i realize belief doesnt come from my mind but from my heart, it is easier for my actions to reflect that. A happy heart is easier to live than a mind full of thoughts on what to do.
Good food for thought or for the heart. I agree with Jane, but my head and heart are connected. My prayer is that they can live in peace together and reflect my love and faith.
