God loves it when you stop by for a visit. God loves it when you invite God to hang out with you. No strings attached. Just hang out. It makes God very happy just like you get happy to be in the presence of a good friend or family member. Really….it makes God happy. You don’t even have to be in a good mood to hang out with God. God wants you to know that you are loved. God wants to help you peel back the layers of your life and your psyche that keep you from hanging out with God. Can you believe that God is interested in getting to know you? It’s true. So hang out with God this weekend. Don’t worry about what to say. You wouldn’t worry about what to say with your best friend. In fact you might just hang out, drink coffee, watch the sunrise or take a hike and never speak a word to each other because you don’t always need words to communicate what’s on your mind.
