Welcome to Friday Food! A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday. For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”. In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God). We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too! When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes. This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head. Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things. Just let them speak to your heart. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. Here is today’s download:
Thank You for Listening
“Thank you for listening, thank you for showing up, thank you for following me even when you are not sure of the next step. Thank you for trusting me in the darkness. Thank you for making time for love. Thank you for sitting in silence with me. Thank you for trusting me with your life. Thank you for looking for the joy in all things. Thank you for sharing my peace and living in my peace. Thank you for accepting the unifying power of my love. Thank you for keeping the joy flowing and going. Thank you for knowing that your enemy is also your neighbor. Thank you for letting me help you and support you in all you do. I love you.”
I often forget that God (however you understand God) is, in fact, grateful for my attempts at living faithfully. We are not expected to live perfectly we are only expected to live genuinely and authentically as we understand God (however you understand God) calls us to live. One of the great mysteries we have to grasp in this life is that God wants what we want for our lives with respect to authentically living, however, we understand it, in love, peace, and joy. How do you understand God’s (however you understand God) gratitude for your life and efforts to live authentically? Would love to read your thoughts in the comments below.
A dedication to knowing who you are and what is authentic for you each day is a wonderful commitment to life as healthy and glorious no matter what. bless you for this!
