Welcome to Friday Food!! And may you have an exceptional time today with family and friends on this Christmas day. No doubt the food you receive today will be offered in love, hope, peace and joy. Some of you will be reminded as you gather around the table that there are those who are painfully absent. And even in the middle of all the joy, a glimpse of sadness may come, doubt may come through and you may wonder how you will take the next step. No matter what you feel today, it is a day of new beginnings, something new has come to us and will show us the way. As you celebrate these new beginings, look to the new year with joy and doubt and perhaps a little worry about things unknown, here is the last installment in Downloads from Heaven. Out of Control
In life, we go through times of doubt and worry not sure how we are going to make it to the next step. When this happens we sometimes lose perspective and try to figure out what we need to be in control. What if during those times God said to you:
“When you are hungry in body or soul, I will feed you. When you are thirsty in body or soul I will give you a cool refreshing drink. When you are in pain in body or soul, I will share in your suffering. When your heart is broken I will hold it in the palm of my hand, I will kiss it and show you my healing love. When your body is broken, I will carry you until the moment of your healing. If you are lost, I will come to you and help you find your way. Everything you need for your journey is very near and if it alludes you, I will be with you until you find it. I love you.”
