Welcome to Friday Food!  A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday.  For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”.  In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God).  We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too!  When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes.  This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head.  Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things.  Just let them speak to your heart.  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  Here is today’s download:

Be Still and Do Not Be Afraid

Do Not Be AfraidBe still and do not be afraid.  Do not be afraid of the stillness where you come face to face with pain, heartache, and where your wounds cry out in pain.  Be still and know that I am with you.  Be still and let your pain and sadness rise up and out of your soul.  Let it flow like a river.  Call upon my holy angels to come in, to heal, comfort and give you strength.  do not be afraid to let this pass through you because only in letting this pass through will the joy rise up, the wounds be cleansed and then you will know who you really are.  You will live wholly and holy in the way you were meant to live.  You are loved beyond measure.

Ponder

Sometimes we avoid stillness, silence and being alone.  We do this because we are afraid of what will come up, the pain of our reality.  When we do this, when we hide from our pain and the pain of others, we deny the opportunity for healing of our own pain and the pain of others.  Our sadness, anger, fear, denial all these things wounds must be given the opportunity for cleansing and healing.  So, don’t be afraid to let your wounds be healed.  It is the only way to be transformed and made whole.  Let me know how you use silence to take care of your wounds in the comments below.
