Welcome to Friday Food!  A little bit of food for your soul…every Friday.  For the next few months, we are looking at “Downloads from Heaven”.  In these “downloads” we are contemplating what it would be like if we got a message from God (however you understand God).  We will be exploring messages from God about pain and suffering and healing and blessing and love and peace other topics too!  When you read these “downloads” you will notice that they are in quotes.  This is to help you think from your heart NOT your head.  Don’t get caught up in whether or not God, (however you understand God) actually said these things.  Just let them speak to your heart.  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  Here is today’s download:

Your Divine Purpose

Your Divine Purpose“Waking up Spiritually is a daily practice.  This daily practice is a practice of loving God, self, and neighbor.  So, to love God, self, and neighbor, do not judge, forgive and love always.  This is your life work.  As you do this, your divine purpose will float to the surface of your life.  But first, you must be set free by removing the barriers of life.  Worries such as anxiety, stress, the pursuit of things, the desire to get ahead. All these ego needs can be met when you love God, self, and neighbor.  Then, your divine purpose rises and you are able to live in peace, love, and joy.  So, work on this daily. I love you.”

There is much talk these days about one’s purpose in life.  As people of faith or first purpose is to understand how much God (however you understand God) loves us and accepts us.  This takes a lot of work for some of us. Some of us have been convinced that we are not acceptable in some way.  Or that we need to reach some level of perfection in order to be OK with God (however you understand God).  This is simply not true. God loves you no matter what and nothing can separate you from God’s love. Until you believe and understand that and live your life from that point of view you are lost in the wilderness. If this seems like something you would like to know more about send me an email and we will schedule some time together.
